The Kirva Institute invites you to the Teshuva Workshop for 2017 with Rabbi David Jaffe.
This two part, six-hour workshop, is designed to help people create a personal vidui/confession to bring into the high holy days that can serve as a spiritual action plan for the coming year.
Past participants commented that that the workshop helped them have their most meaningful high holy day experience and provided an invaluable action plan for the year.
For the first time, we are offering this practical, interactive workshop as a two-part, in-person course and as a live on-line webinar over five one-hour sessions. Participants are encouraged to register for whichever format works best for their schedule and location.
Year-after-year satisfied participants testify to the power of this workshop in helping them develop a spiritual action plan for the Jewish High Holidays. Through text study, personal examples, guided meditation, journaling, creative arts and partner discussion, Rabbi David leads you through a process of reviewing the past year and creating a practical plan for growth for the year ahead. The workshop draws on wisdom from the Mussar (Ethical development) and Chassidic traditions within Judaism.
